Book design for Farfars Fortellinger
About the book
Farfars Fortellinger is a book telling the story of the island of Skardsøya, where my grandfather grew up. He loves to tell stories from his time there, and I've picked some of them to form the basis of this book.
My grandfathers stories are written with a typewriter, distinguishing them from the rest of the content. The remainder of the book includes pictures, historical facts and stories from other people with connection to the island.
For the physical copy I handmade the cover using coptic binding.
